During the Bergen visit, the delegation visited several maritime operators in the city to deepen relationships and strengthen engagement with all Bahamas-flagged clients. Meetings included Gearbulk Norway, Wilson Ship Management, who are increasing their Bahamas fleet, Kristian Gerhard Jebsen Skipsrederi, OSM Bergen Dry, Misje Rederi, Wikborg Rein Advokatfirma, and Shearwater Invest. Discussions covered regulatory updates, registration processes, digital system feedback, crew matters, and operational challenges. Across all sessions, operators reaffirmed their confidence in The Bahamas registry, citing its practicality, responsiveness, and strong collaboration. The visit highlighted the BMA’s continued commitment to service, industry engagement, and long-term partnership with shipowners in the region.
