BMA Sponsors LISW 2025: Transportation Partner for Gala Dinner

The BMA was proud to once again sponsor London International Shipping Week (LISW), this year serving as the Gala Dinner Transport Sponsor. Distinctive London Routemaster buses, branded “All Aboard,” ran regularly throughout the later part of the evening, transporting guests to three major city hubs convenient for onward travel.

The Gala Dinner was the culmination of a week of insightful conversations and in-depth discussions on the key technical issues facing our industry, including geopolitical volatility, decarbonisation and the drive to meet IMO GHG strategy targets, not to mention digitalisation and the many ways it can support the industry.  Throughout the week, discussions also focused on the people working in maritime, particularly seafarers and the challenges they face daily. This was powerfully portrayed through the images at the exhibit by the ITF Seafarer Trust.

In addition to hosting its signature event onboard HMS Wellington, the BMA team was actively engaged across a wide range of activities. From safety, environmental sustainability and risk assessment to alternative fuels and the training requirements they demand – alongside a panoply of other critical sector topics – the comprehensive programme of events ensured that no stone was left unturned by the end of the week
