BMA Showcases The Bahamas Flag at Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show

The Bahamas Maritime Authority (BMA) was proud to participate in the 2025 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) in partnership with the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, Investments and Aviation (BMOTIA). Represented by Marketing Manager, Leah Davis, and Registrar, Kindinicia Moore, the BMA joined BMOTIA to promote The Bahamas Flag and reaffirm the country’s strong position within the global yachting sector.

Throughout the event, the BMA engaged with yacht owners, brokers and industry leaders to highlight the advantages of registering under The Bahamas flag and to provide updates on recent developments in the sector. The team also connected with members of the Association of Bahamas Marinas and their partners, as well as attended events hosted by the U.S. Superyacht Association (USSA), further strengthening relationships across the yachting community.

The BMA’s presence at FLIBS reflects its continued commitment to collaboration and to ensuring The Bahamas remains a trusted and competitive choice for yacht registration and maritime excellence.
